STEVE WATERHOUSE, CD, CISSP

Steve is CISSP, Information Security professional, lecturer with the University of Sherbrooke.

It was during his military career with the Royal 22e Régiment that Capt(ret) Waterhouse swapped the gun on the keyboard to become one of the first cyber-soldiers in the country. After working to train soldiers and officers in combat arms, he was made the first Information Systems Security Officer at the Montreal base and then the Royal Military College of Saint-Jean.
Mr. Waterhouse continued his quest for knowledge with private enterprise, shared his military and public speaking experience with the Canadian youth cadet movement, and started his consulting business: INFOSECSW.
He continues to share his passion and experience as a lecturer with the Université de Sherbrooke at the Master’s microprogram in computer security – prevention and is invited to contribute his experience with the committees of the House of Commons of Canada as well than in the Canadian news media.
