Social Media Volunteer at University of the People, Member of Just Net Coalition, NPOC ICANN and Former ALISON Ambassador in Haiti, a global platform that is called pioneer in access to free training anywhere in the world. Obed Sindy has developed a tutoring program to support young people in Haiti who have difficulty completing online courses for their professional future. He has also worked as editor for Haiti Tech News, a first tech magazine in Haiti.
He is a Youth IGF Fellows 2017 of the Internet Society, Co-Founder of Digital Grassroots, President of the Internet Society Haiti Chapter, Obed Sindy is a certified expert in Internet governance, speaker on e-learning and Internet Governance. With ISOC Haiti Chapter board members and Reynold Guerrier, he organized the first National Forum on Internet Governance in Haiti and has been a mentor several times for Digital Grassroots wishing to engage young people around the world in Internet governance.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the Adventist University of Haiti and he is a Master Candidate in Public Communication.
